Castor oil is brilliant for the body and it is one of the inspirations behind the blends because it is excellent for its known abilities to soothe, nourish and lock in moisture. I have been using castor oil for a while on my hair and skin and can testify to its great benefits.

I believe it can often be underrated or overlooked because it has a higher viscosity (thick and flows slowly) compared to other carrier oils.

However, with the right mix, castor oil not only brings all of its benefits but it can also add a bit of body and texture to a blend.

Our Nourish and Bliss lines are made with about 30% castor oil, so they tend to be a bit thicker than other body oils.

The higher proportion of castor oil gives our oils a richer and more luxurious slip. A little truly goes a long way.

While both lines are suitable for daily use, the difference lies in the aromatic intensity and the key supporting carrier oil chosen for their unique benefits:

• Nourish (Face & Body Oil): This is our all-in-one product. It features Pomegranate Seed Oil for its antioxidant properties, making it excellent for facial skin. It uses a lower essential oil concentration for a lighter, gentler aroma suitable for daily use on both face and body.

• Bliss (Aromatic Body Oil): This line is designed to elevate your routine with a luxurious aromatic experience. It features Grapeseed Oil for a light, non-greasy feel and uses double the essential oil concentration to provide a more intense fragrance for your body.

For the Face: After cleansing, lightly pat your face dry, leaving it slightly damp (not wet or fully dry). While the skin is still damp, dispense 1–2 pumps of oil into your palms, gently warm it, and apply to your face. The dampness helps the oil absorb quickly and efficiently locks in moisture.

For the Body: While the oil can be applied to dry skin, we recommend applying it to your body immediately after showering or bathing, before your skin has fully dried. This technique leverages the humectant properties of the water and the oil's emollient properties to provide maximum moisture retention.
